Working with colours when printing your business cards or flyers: RGB to CMYK

Is converting images to CMYK important when printing? It's very important if you are working on a print document that the images are CMYK. Commercial printers mostly accept RGB images without question but using images with a RBG colour space can seriously effect your images. Printers who accept RBG images auto-convert images to CMYK without checking the outcome so it is important you know what it is you are getting printed!
